About FINCAP

Built on discipline, not urgency.

The investors who build real wealth are rarely the ones chasing the best return in any one year. They stay invested, stay diversified and have someone willing to say “not yet” or “not this” when it matters.

OneLong-term view
01 · Precision at the weighing scale

Before spreadsheets and portfolios, Mohan grew up around a weighing scale in his family’s goldsmith business. Working alongside his two brothers taught him how much a business depends on trust, accuracy and communication being right every single time.

02 · Choosing the numbers

His stronger pull toward mathematics eventually narrowed the next step to law or an MBA. He chose the MBA because the numbers side made more sense—and that decision opened a path into financial services distribution.

03 · Learning every portfolio role

Mutual funds taught long-term discipline. Insurance taught protection. Fixed income and bonds showed how business owners manage cash, liquidity and risk. Each area added a piece the previous one could not provide alone.

04 · Bringing the disciplines together

FINCAP brought those lessons under one roof, guided by the same principle learned in the family business: get the number right, every time, for the person trusting you with it.

A practice shaped across asset classes

Different products taught different lessons.

For close to two decades, FINCAP has worked with HNIs, business owners, SME promoters, doctors, professionals and NRIs across creation, preservation, protection and distribution.

1

Insurance & protection

Cover begins with liabilities, dependants and income replacement—not an investment target.

2

Mutual funds

Long-term compounding needs patience, goal clarity, diversification and consistent review.

3

Fixed income & bonds

Capital preservation, predictable cash flow and treasury planning require a different risk lens.

4

Specialised strategies

PMS, SIF and AIF options require rigorous evaluation of the manager, strategy, fees and liquidity.

What we believe

Principles before products.

Every recommendation is tested against purpose, time, liquidity, protection and the wider portfolio—not one product’s headline return.

01

Long-term over timing

Markets reward patience more reliably than prediction.

02

Goal-based, not product-based

The product is selected to fit the goal, horizon and role.

03

Allocation is the engine

Diversification and asset allocation shape the long-term experience.

04

Tax is part of the return

Distribution and withdrawal choices affect the value that remains.

05

Preservation matters

Creation, protection and transfer belong in the same conversation.

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future returns.
